An International NGO operating in Bangladesh is seeking a CENTRE MANAGER for street children Rehabilitation program:

POSITION: CENTRE MANAGER

Job Location: Mohammadpur, Dhaka

The candidate should have following criteria:

• Must be fully bilingual in English and Bengali (dialects also)
• Must be computer literate, i.e so that we can communicate via email as well being able to record information via a database (word, excel, google mail proficient)
• Must have relevant work experience working with children
  
• No other work commitments
  
• Must be able to work on their own initiative
  
• A self starter, with high motivation
  
• Must be committed to the cause and growth of restless beings

Desired Requirements:

• Previous management experience
  
• Previous experience in the NGO field
  
• Would be able to relocate into one of the rooms at the centre

Job Brief for Restless Beings Rehabilitation Centre Manager

• Building relationships with vulnerable children who live on the streets.
  
• Actively record all conversations and information on a database
  
• Managing database of activities, including uploading photos, attendance sheets, data, counselling notes to a central computer
  
• Managing basic finances as instructed by both UK director and Co-Ordinator in Bangladesh
  
• Structuring the teaching programme according to the children
  
• A minimum of 10 hours per week teaching
  
• Working alongside Co-Ordinator and UK director to plan programme of activities
• Overall management of programme on a day to day level
• Report back to the directors in UK at the end of every week via email and will speak with the directors once per week to inform of progress being made
  
• Minimum term is 6 months, after which should the candidate have proven a good record, will be offered a full time position or rolling contract dependent of performance
  
• Where possible and feasible will be expected to attend training courses or seminars

Full time salaried position between 22,000 to 30,000 taka depending on experience
