Tesco International Sourcing in Bangladesh is going to recruit a number of talented and experienced people for the following positions to support the expansion and future growth in the market.
1. Sr. Technical Manager - Indian Sub Continent
The role needs to deliver the technical strategy for Indian Sub Continent, lead and manage the team to ensure that all products and services consistently meet Tesco quality, safety and legal standards. Also need to develop & implement strategic and operational plans for our products and suppliers to conform to our policies, standards and specifications.
Skills & Experience:
At least 6-8 years of experience in leading a technical department in a multinational company. Must have the leadership capability to manage a large team and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and managing people from different regions/country. Excellent presentation skills and fluent in English. Good in analyzing and problem solving skills.
2. Technical Manager - Production
The role needs deliver the factory standard for efficiency, technical and ethical compliance for clothing and work with Production Technologist and QCs to ensure that all factories, products and services consistently meet Tesco quality, safety, technical, legal and ethical standards. Good in analyzing and problem solving skills.
Skills & Experience:
At least 5-6 years of experience as a production technologist in a leading company including 1-2 years of managerial experience. Must have the leadership capability to manage a team. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to drive people to achieve the business goals.
3. Technical Manager, Garments
The role needs to deliver the technical process for ladies wear category and to ensure that products and services consistently meet Tesco quality, safety and legal standards. Also need to implement strategic and operational plans for our products and suppliers to conform to our policies, standards and specifications. Good in analyzing and problem solving skills.
Skills & Experience:
At least 5-6 years of experience as a garments technologist in a leading company including 1-2 years of managerial experience. Must have the leadership capability to manage a team. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to drive people to achieve the business goals.
4. Merchandising Manager
The role needs to build and maintain the right suppliers, right products, right prices and right quality to meet business requirements. Also accountable for shipping products on the agreed delivery dates.
Skills & Experience:
At least 5-6 years of experience in leading a merchandising team of a category/department in a multinational company. Must have the leadership capability to manage a team of merchandisers. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to drive people to achieve the business goals. Good in analyzing and problem solving skills.
5. Production Technologist
The role needs to ensure compliance and safety of factories and the quality of production and follow-up on non-compliances found in an audit and ensure that corrective actions are implemented. Also need to evaluate and ensure that production meets approved standards.
Skills & Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Production Technologist in a leading company. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to influence people to achieve goals.
6. Garment Technologist
The role needs to manage garments for a category from a designated set of suppliers’ factories, starting from the design concept to the stage when the garment is ready for finally sealed.
Skills & Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Garment Technologist in a leading company. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to influence people to achieve goals.
