The Embassy of the United States of America is looking for HVAC/Appliance Mechanic in the Residential Maintenance Unit of Facility Maintenance.

The incumbent is assigned to Appliance shop and responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of U.S. Govt.  residential equipments/appliances.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and successful completion of a trade school course of 2 to 3 years duration from a recognized Technical School. (You must attach a copy of your S.S.C. certificate technical course certificate along with your application form.).
2. Minimum three years experience as Appliance Mechanic.
3. Level II (Limited Knowledge) English and level III (Good working knowledge) Bangla.  English language proficiency will be tested.
4. Knowledge of various parts and materials, and how to use them effectively to carry out projects.  Knowledge of technical specifications and US Codes to meet USG standards.
